Pathcare Vermaak have different set of reports available that can be accessed by making use of the Mobile application or web access:

Microbiology reports:

  • Microbiology Cumulative (2 Weeks) – This report displays all micro results for the last 2 weeks from date of the requisition number selected. It provides a tabulated result of the most recent antimicrobial susceptibility results at the end of the report
  • Microbiology Cumulative (All Requisitions) – This report displays all current and historic micro results starting with the most recent requisition number. It provides a tabulated result of the most recent antimicrobial susceptibility results at the end of the report
  • Microbiology Cumulative (Single Specimen Type) – This report displays most recent micro results for a particular specimen type moving sequentially to most recent from left to right. It is useful to track sequential specimens e.g. blood cultures
  • Microbiology Cumulative Orthopaedic (2 Week) – This report is designed specifically for orthopaedic-related infections where multiple samples are submitted simultaneously and displays all micro results for the last 2 weeks in a tabulated format followed by individual detailed results. It also provides an updated guide on recommendations for antimicrobial therapy in orthopaedic-related infections
  • Microbiology Laboratory Report – This report displays the specific micro sample (single requisition number) report selected

Histology and Cytology report:

  • Cytology report – cumulative available

Reports available for Ward/ICU

  • Infection Control report – Provides a detailed breakdown of all microbiology specimens for the past 2 weeks from a particular unit. Specimens are listed by patient alphabetically from A – Z. Useful to track results from various patients in the unit over a 2 week period
  • Surveillance Report – Shows all the micro-organisms isolated, per specimen type from that particular unit for the past 2 months. Useful to provide a snapshot of the microbial ecology of a unit, and to assess variation by different specimen type

Other departments:

  • Cumulative Report (Landscape / Portrait) – all reports can be viewed in Portrait or Landscape setting
  • Laboratory Report – single report. All Confidential Reports must be viewed in laboratory report
